A global salon software company is looking for an Educator to enhance customer engagement and product adoption through training and educational content. This remote role requires 3+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of salon operations. The Educator will deliver webinars, create comprehensive educational materials, and actively engage with customers to provide support. We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating educational content, conducting webinars, and delivering training programs to help salon owners and professionals maximize their use of Phorest salon software. Your primary goal will be to enhance customer engagement, increase product adoption, and ultimately reduce customer churn.
Complement the comprehensive educational materials, including videos, tutorials, guides, and step-by-step instructions, covering the features and functionalities of Phorest salon software provided by our Global Education Team.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and our Product Marketing Manager to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content.
Continuously update and maintain existing educational resources to reflect software updates and industry best practices.
Plan, organize, and deliver engaging live webinars and virtual training sessions for salon owners, managers, and staff. (10+ webinars per week)
Ensure a seamless and interactive learning experience by incorporating real-world examples, case studies, and best practices.
Respond to participant questions and provide actionable solutions to their challenges.
Handle all pre- and post-session communications with attendees through our webinar platform.
Comfortable delivering in-person education at our customers' businesses when necessary.
Actively engage with salon customers through various channels (e.g., forums, social media, email) to understand their needs, pain points, and areas of confusion.
Manage and promote our Facebook education group
Provide personalized guidance and support to help customers overcome obstacles and maximize their software utilization.
Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate feedback to the product and development teams.
Develop and implement targeted educational campaigns and interventions to address common pain points and increase customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with customer success and support teams to identify at-risk customers and provide tailored training and resources to prevent churn.
3+ years of proven experience in delivering training, creating educational content, or working in a customer education role.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Strong understanding of salon operations, workflows, and industry best practices.
Proficient in using Phorest salon software and its various features and functionalities.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and webinar platforms. Experience with Zoom Sessions is a bonus, but not required
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer pain points and develop effective solutions.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be available to travel at least once per month and be comfortable presenting to large audiences.
