Home to the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'anKwäch'än Council, Takhini Elementary school is one of 11 Yukon schools that have joined the newly established First Nation School Board (FNSB) in the Yukon. Southern Tutchone is the traditional language of Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'anKwäch'än Council people.
Takhini Elementary school is a K-7 school with approximately 141 students. We are actively seeking a committed and qualified educator who is dedicated to living and being an active member of the community. Our educational professionals value authentic relationships and are committed to working with students, community, administration and the FNSB to make positive, progressive changes to education outcomes for learners of Takhini Elementary.
