Your commitment to fairness, accuracy, transparency and impeccable journalism ethics comes from education and real world experience. To start, you have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Journalism, or a related field. You have experience in a newsroom setting. You have exceptional writing and editing skills and a thorough knowledge of CP style. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with those inside our Village and within the communities we serve. Familiarity with the Durham Region is a strong asset.

You will need to have a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle. The successful candidate must live in or near Oshawa, Ontario.
