Job summary

CHEO seeks an EDI Indigenous Health & Wellness Specialist to lead Indigenous engagement across Ontario, ensuring Indigenous perspectives inform the BORNConnect digital record. You will develop governance resources, coordinate with partners, and analyze data to promote equity in pediatric health care.

The role requires strong communication, policy development, and experience with Indigenous data governance. Willingness to travel within Ontario and collaborate across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or related area (or equivalent experience).
• Five years of health policy, program development, data management, and Indigenous wellness experience (Essential).
• Experience with engagement frameworks, focus groups, and qualitative analysis (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with Indigenous communities to inform BORNConnect dOPR+.
• Develop resources advancing Indigenous data governance and health equity.
• Analyze data trends and inform strategies for Indigenous wellness initiatives.
