Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced EDI & Retail Integrations Analyst to own and support the day‑to‑day electronic integration between our business, major retail customers, marketplaces, third‑party logistics providers, warehouses and internal systems.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands how orders move from a retailer or marketplace through EDI and eCommerce platforms, into an ERP/WMS environment, through fulfillment and shipping, and ultimately through invoicing and reconciliation.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical and analytical capabilities with exceptional communication, organization and project‑management skills. You will be the internal point person for EDI‑related implementations, retailer requirements, transaction failures, partner onboarding, escalations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support EDI integrations with major North American retailers and trading partners.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of retailer‑specific EDI, routing, shipping, labeling, ASN, invoicing and vendor‑compliance requirements.
  • Support trading partners including The Home Depot, Lowes, RONA, Walmart, Amazon, Wayfair, Costco, Best Buy and The Brick.
  • Monitor daily EDI transaction flows and proactively identify failed, missing, duplicate or incorrect transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve EDI errors from initial identification through root cause and permanent resolution.
  • Coordinate new trading‑partner setup, testing, certification and production go‑live.
  • Maintain documentation of retailer specifications, mappings, operating procedures and integration dependencies.
EDI Transactions, Platforms & Systems
  • Working knowledge of common ANSI X12 transactions, including purchase orders, acknowledgments, ASNs, invoices, inventory, warehouse and carrier transactions.
  • Experience supporting retail and eCommerce integrations using platforms such as SPS Commerce, CommerceHub/Rithum, Wayfair Partner Home, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, NetSuite, WMS and 3PL systems, as well as EDI, SFTP, API, CSV/XML and related interfaces.
  • Direct experience with every platform is not required; candidates should be comfortable learning and supporting comparable retail integration environments.
3PL, Warehouse & Transportation
  • Work closely with internal operations teams, warehouses and 3PL partners to ensure accurate order, inventory and shipping information.
  • Support integration between NetSuite, WMS platforms, EDI providers, retailers and 3PL systems.
  • Troubleshoot warehouse‑order, ASN, inventory, tracking and shipment‑confirmation discrepancies. Assist with root‑cause investigation of chargebacks, compliance issues, routing failures and shipment discrepancies.
  • Maintain familiarity with carrier identifiers including SCAC codes, routing requirements and retailer transportation requirements.
  • Coordinate EDI or system changes with 3PL providers and carriers
Project Management & Implementation
  • Lead EDI and integration projects from requirements gathering through testing, launch and post‑go‑live support.
  • Develop implementation plans, testing scripts, issue logs and project timelines.
  • Coordinate activities between retailers, EDI providers, IT resources, operations teams, finance, customer service, carriers and warehouses.
  • Clearly communicate project status, risks, dependencies and unresolved issues.
  • Manage multiple implementations and escalations simultaneously while maintaining appropriate priorities.
  • Ensure changes are appropriately tested before production deployment.
Support & Escalations
  • Act as the primary internal escalation point for EDI and retail integration issues.
  • Own issues through resolution rather than simply forwarding tickets to third‑party providers.
  • Communicate effectively with retailers, vendors and technology partners during high‑priority incidents.
  • Coordinate escalations with SPS Commerce, CommerceHub/Rithum, marketplace support teams, 3PLs and other service providers.
  • Identify recurring problems and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Develop monitoring, documentation and processes that reduce manual intervention and prevent repeat failures.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in EDI, retail systems, eCommerce integrations, supply chain systems or a comparable role.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting retailer or distributor EDI environments.
  • Understanding of ANSI X12 EDI transactions and order‑to‑cash workflows.
  • Experience working with an ERP system; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SPS Commerce, CommerceHub/Rithum, TrueCommerce or a comparable EDI/integration platform.
  • Experience supporting retail, wholesale, distribution or consumer‑products environments.
  • Familiarity with WMS and 3PL fulfillment workflows.
  • Strong understanding of purchase orders, order acknowledgments, inventory, ASNs, invoicing, tracking and fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and root‑cause‑analysis skills.
  • Strong Excel and data‑analysis skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, retailer routing guides and implementation documentation.
