Job summary

Qualifications

• ECE II classification through Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care.
• First Aid and CPR certification appropriate to the age groups in care.
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Play-based, child-centered learning understood and applied.
• Dependable, professional and confidentiality-minded.

• Provide warm, responsive and attentive care and supervision.
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.

• Support inclusive programming for children with diverse abilities and needs.

• Follow SLC policies, procedures and Manitoba licensing requirements.
