Job description

Join a Fence Industry Leader - Master Halco

Master Halco, North America's leading manufacturer and distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office.

Position Responsibilities

1. Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
2. Drive forklift to load/unload trailers (70%) and manually sort and stage materials in the yard (30%).
3. Safely operate a forklift.
4. Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
5. Accurately load trucks for shipments and receive inbound materials.
6. Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
7. Pull and prepare orders for shipment, rotate yard stock, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
8. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
2. Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) occasionally.
3. Forklift experience (sit-down) is highly desirable.
4. Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
5. Ability to work overtime as needed.
6. Experience with building materials is a plus.
