EC&I 821 – The Impacts of Cultural Concepts on the Design of Aboriginal Education Programs – Winter 2026 (Online)

Position Summary: This course will explore perspectives of various Aboriginal peoples in Canada. Topics include traditional gender relations, spiritual interpretation, Aboriginal science and the impact of colonialism. Cultural concepts are used as the basis for Aboriginal education programs.

Position Requirements: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Education or related field. Experience in the education system relevant to the course content, knowledge of the Saskatchewan curriculum, and experience with Faculty of Education programs are preferred. University teaching experience is an asset.

Course Modality and Dates

Online delivery. Course Dates: January 6 – April 29, 2026. Full‑time/part‑time other preference.
