Job summary

Abbeal is seeking a senior EBX and Java developer to build the master and reference data foundations for a large Canadian financial institution. The role offers Montreal on-site two days per week or the option to work remotely from France.

You will design and implement MDM/RDM solutions, document architectures, and train teams while collaborating with architects and other tech contributors. Start date in late 2026 and a one-year assignment are anticipated.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software design and development.
• Hands-on experience in master or reference data management (MDM/RDM).
• Proficient in Oracle and SQL.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, Artifactory, Tomcat.
• Observability: Splunk, Dynatrace.

The reference data services team designs and delivers the master and reference data management (MDM/RDM) foundations used by every business line of the institution.

The role

• Design and develop MDM/RDM solutions, mainly on the EBX (TIBCO) platform

• Co-create with architects and other technology contributors
• Install and test software packages

Profile

• 5+ years in software design and development, degree in computer science or software engineering
• Hands-on experience in master or reference data management (MDM/RDM)
• Oracle and SQL
• Git, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, Artifactory, Tomcat
• Observability: Splunk, Dynatrace
• Nice to have: EBX (TIBCO), cloud and PaaS, relational and semantic modelling, DevOps culture

Terms
