Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking an Operations Superintendent for Eastern Canada based in Sarnia, ON. You will oversee regional operations, safety, compliance, reliability, and workforce planning to ensure efficient plant and fleet performance.

You'll lead a team, manage scheduling, budget support, payroll reporting, and training compliance, while driving cost reductions and continuous improvement across operations and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in operations, equipment, or fleet environments.
• Minimum high school diploma; technical diploma is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.
• 5+ years of people management and leadership experience.
• Ability to take ownership, make decisions, and work independently.
• Experience leading and coaching direct reports.
• Proactive problem solver balancing daily needs with long-term planning.
• Autonomous, organized, and able to manage priorities and resources.

• Oversee scheduling and resource planning to ensure effective operations.
• Manage fleet maintenance, preventive programs, compliance, and repairs.
• Drive a strong safety culture; lead incident reviews and audits.

• Support payroll reporting, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
• Oversee training and compliance including certifications and training.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on projects.
