Job summary

A local mental health organization seeks a Peer Specialist to provide emotional and social support to individuals experiencing early stages of psychosis. Qualifications

  • Two years of recovery oriented lived experience plus one year of job experience.
  • Knowledge of mental health recovery processes.
  • Positive energy to motivate individuals living with mental illness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychosocial interventions to clients.
  • Participate in family education and intervention supports.
  • Assist clients in job search and skills development.
