United Parcel Service, Inc. in Winnipeg (Manitoba) is hiring for a package handler role. You will load, unload, ship, receive, scan, sort and stock packages, using heavy machinery as needed, in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a Monday to Friday shift, flexible hours 12:00am–6:00am depending on volume, and opportunities to grow within a Fortune Global 500 logistics leader. UPS provides accommodations in recruitment as needed.

Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. They may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes Availability to work flexible shirt hours, 5 days per week Shift is Monday to Friday.
• Starting between 12:00am to 6:00am, ending around 9:30am dependent on volume.
• Warehouse experience - Preferred
