Job summary

J.D. Irving, a leading Atlantic Canada distributor, is seeking a part-time freight flow crew associate in Amherst, NS. This overnight role partners with the logistics team to process shipments, ensure inventory accuracy, and support timely distribution to customers.

You will help receive and ship products, stock departments, manage inventory, and assist with flyer/ad setup. The team emphasizes safety, training, and continuous improvement in a dynamic distribution center environment.

Job description

The freight flow crew associate partners with the logistics team to efficiently process and organize incoming freight shipments. As a key member of the overnight operations, freight handlers ensure accurate inventory management and timely distribution to support our customers' needs. You will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth flow of products through our distribution center.
