A local educational institution is seeking a temporary Early Childhood Educator for their Before and After School Care program. Located in Kamloops, this part-time role focuses on developing engaging programs for children aged 0-12. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Early Childhood Education and relevant experience working with young learners. The position also offers eligibility for Extended Health Benefits and possible additional hours on the ECE Relief Roster.
School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for the temporary position of Early Childhood Educator for the Before and After School Care program at Marion Schilling Elementary School, in Kamloops, BC. Hours of work: 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
This is a part-time, temporary position which will end on or before June 30, 2026. Following successful completion of the probationary period, the incumbent will be eligible for Extended Health Benefits. School District No. 73 belongs to the Municipal Pension Plan.
The successful incumbent may also be eligible for additional hours on the ECE Relief Roster, if interested. As a relief employee you will have the opportunity to visit many of our schools and district sites, and support the staff and students of School District No. 73.
