Job summary

Kepler Academy, at the Oxford location, seeks a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator to support infant to school-age care. You will design programs that nurture physical, cognitive, and emotional development while ensuring safety and well-being.

You will work with a dedicated team, follow Alberta regulations, and participate in ongoing professional growth and education opportunities offered by Kepler Academy.

Qualifications

• Must hold Alberta Level 1 Child Development Certificate.
• Valid Standard First Aid (Level C) is required.
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past 6 months.
• Experience in childcare is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Alberta Provincial Child Care Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs promoting physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.
• Lead activities by storytelling, singing, games, and art to stimulate growth.
• Plan a safe, healthy environment and supervise daily routines.
• Observe and report on child progress to families and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers and external providers to support children.
• May supervise other staff and assist with school-age activities.
