The role involves organizing, planning, and facilitating early learning programs in collaboration with School staff.
The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in ECE, BC ECE certification, and FoodSafe certification, with at least one year of experience with ages 0–5 and strong family engagement skills.

HOURLY WAGE: $28.29 - $29.62 hourly wage effective July 1, 2024
The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for organizing, preparing, planning and facilitating early learning programs and initiatives in a play-based environment. The Early Childhood Educator may oversee the day-to-day operations for the StrongStart BC Early Learning programs and/or work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support early learning initiatives and programs. The Early Childhood Educator ensures that the goals and objectives of the program and initiatives are met using the British Columbia Early Learning Framework and/or StrongStart B.C. Operation Guide as a guideline.
