Job summary

Cohere, a leading security-first enterprise AI company, is expanding its Talent Team and seeks an Early Careers & Interns Specialist. You will design comprehensive programs to attract and develop top student and graduate talent and lead end-to-end intern recruitment globally.

You will partner with the People team to onboard, mentor, and assess interns, build university partnerships, and craft targeted employer branding for student markets while scaling programs as Cohere grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in global early careers, internships, or graduate recruitment with a focus on technical roles.
• Expertise in international university partnership development and global campus recruitment for STEM fields.
• Demonstrated experience building inclusive and equitable intern programs with excellent project management and attention to detail.

We are expanding our Talent Team and are looking for a dedicated Early Careers & Interns Specialist to help us build a world-class pipeline of future AI talent. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive early careers programs that attract, develop, and retain top student and recent graduate talent, positioning Cohere as the premier destination for ambitious early-career professionals in AI.

As An Early Careers & Interns Specialist, You Will

• Design and implement strategic early talent programs with clear goals for intern and graduate pipelines
• Own for end-to-end recruitment process for hundreds of interns per year globally.
• Align with early careers frameworks with Cohere's global growth plans and talent needs
• Story tell the comprehensive learning objectives and core projects for each intern cohort
• Build and maintain partnerships with top universities and colleges to source high-potential candidates
• Develop targeted employer branding strategies specifically for student markets
• Represent Cohere at career fairs and host on-campus recruitment events
• Partner with the People team to execute seamless Intern onboarding and orientation experience
• Establish and manage mentor/buddy pairing systems for new starters
• In partnership with the People team, conduct regular progress check-ins, assess overall engagement and oversee performance reviews for interns
• Consider the full life cycle of the intern experience, from onboarding through to internship completion/long term retention
• Track key program metrics including conversion rates, retention, and ROI
• Gather and analyze feedback from managers and interns to continuously improve program effectiveness
• Manage budgets, logistics, and scheduling for all early careers initiatives
• Consider the evolution of an intern program, such as ours, as we scale. What works well today versus what will break and need iteration as we double in size

About you;

• 5+ years of experience in global early careers, internships, or graduate recruitment with a focus on technical roles
• Expertise in international university partnership development and global campus recruitment for STEM fields
• Demonstrated experience building inclusive and equitable Intern programs with excellent project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Commitment to talent development and exceptional, inclusive early-career experiences
• Proven ability to track and analyse program metrics data
• Innovative approach to developing learning objectives and project frameworks
• Strong collaborative skills with excellent communication abilities
• Comfortable working across diverse stakeholder groups and locations

Compensation Range: $95K - $150K
