Job summary

Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is seeking Educational Assistants to support students with special needs within our schools. Applicants must meet the listed qualifications and pass a Physical Demands test; LTO/permanent eligibility rules apply.

Interviews are conducted via Interviewstream as a one-way video process. WRDSB values equity and inclusion and may consider relevant volunteer experience in lieu of related work experience.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Diploma or Educational Support Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Developmental Service Worker (DSW) from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Social Services Diploma (SSW) from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Alternative EA qualifications with experience may be considered with related work experience.
