What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Minimum 2 years of E&O underwriting experience, preferably with carrier exposure
  • Strong understanding of engineering sectors such as Acoustic, Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Automation, Mechanical, and Software Design
  • Ability to evaluate risks with confidence and provide sound underwriting judgments
  • Excellent communication skills for training, broker engagement, and team collaboration
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the engineering risk space
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • At least 3 years of underwriting experience with a focus on engineering firm risks
  • Prior exposure to engineering or technical risk assessments
  • Proven success in managing a portfolio with a focus on retention and relationship building
  • Insurance related education (ex. CIP or CRM or willing to pursue)
