Project Management Institute - Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC) seeks a results-driven Project Manager to lead industrial and commercial projects valued at $5M+ across Alberta from inception to closeout. The role emphasizes client leadership, strong controls, and a world-class safety culture.

You bring 5+ years of large-project delivery, Journeyman Electrician designation, knowledge of contracting models, and solid MS Office skills. Hybrid office/field work and a growth-oriented team await.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects over $5M in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Journeyman Electrician designation required; PMP is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of contracting models (Lump Sum, Fixed Price, Target Price, Reimbursable).
  • Excellent MS Office proficiency and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercial and industrial projects on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Own project financials, budgets, interfaces, and change management.
  • Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand scope.

Are you a results-driven Project Manager who thrives on executing complex, large-scale industrial and commercial projects? We are looking for a highly organized leader to manage projects valued at $5M+ across Alberta from inception to successful closeout.

In this role, you will be the single point of contact for our clients, driving operational excellence, maintaining strict project controls, and fostering a world-class safety culture.

What You Will Do:
  • Project Leadership: Deliver commercial and industrial projects (including E&I scopes) on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Financial & Scope Control: Take full accountability for project financials, budgets, contract interfaces, and the integrated change order process.
  • Client & Growth Focus: Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure retention and identify opportunities to expand project scope.
  • Team & Safety Management: Cultivate a rigorous site safety culture, direct and organize project teams, and mentor junior team members.
  • Risk Mitigation: Actively identify, track, and resolve project risks and operational challenges.
What You Bring:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing projects over $5M in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Designation: Journeyman Electrician required, PMP designation is a definite asset.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong expertise in contracting models (Lump Sum, Fixed Price, Target Price, Reimbursable) and handling RFPs.
  • Skills: Superb interpersonal communication, motivational leadership, and proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable split-shifting between an office setting and active field/onsite environments.
