Job summary

Halliwell Consulting Corp in Northern Ontario is seeking an E/I Planner to develop detailed job plans, schedules, and resource coordination for E&I tasks on industrial projects.

You will collaborate with engineers, maintenance supervisors, procurement, and field crews to refine plans, prepare safety permits, P&IDs, schematics, and vendor manuals. The role involves managing costs, documenting work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, maintenance, and construction norms.

Responsibilities

  • Job Planning: Develops detailed job plans, including steps, sequencing, labor/material needs, cost estimates, safety protocols, drawings, and required tools for E&I tasks.
  • Scheduling: Creates and manages E&I-specific schedules, aligning them with overall project timelines and integrating material/contracting plans.
  • Resource Coordination: Ensures availability of specialized personnel, spare parts, equipment, and necessary documentation for planned work.
  • Work Order Management: Manages work orders updating histories and tracking repair costs within systems like SAP.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with engineers, maintenance supervisors, procurement, and field crews to refine plans and resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Prepares complete job packages, including safety permits, P&IDs, schematics, and vendor manuals.
