About the job

Danone is looking for an e‑Commerce Manager. Working closely with the Senior eCommerce Manager, your main objective will be to co‑lead and execute the overall eCommerce strategy, with an important focus on major retail and pure‑play customers. You will work to develop new capabilities/explore new Route to Markets (RTM) to accelerate Danone's eCommerce ambitions and embed them within the greater Canadian organization. The role also includes management of Danone's content, search strategy, and retail media capabilities while building strong relationships with partners.

Key roles and responsibilities:
  • Accelerate the growth of eCommerce via best in class content, search and retail media strategy development and execution across our Retail and Delivery Network ecosystems
  • Support the team to implement customer and category level e‑business strategy (including assortment, pricing and promotions, etc.)
  • Own and maintain the digital product catalogue within Salsify and lead the overall content development strategy by inspiring and leading agency partners
  • Co‑Own the eCommerce P&L and growth objectives of Danone Canada
  • Manage direct relationships with customers, vendors, internal cross‑functional teams and global counterparts to ensure that our capabilities are constantly improving
  • Develop new capabilities with robust test & learn plans supporting eCommerce objectives
  • Play an active role in accelerating the eBusiness knowledge and capabilities across the organization through facilitating training
About you
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, an MBA or a combination of education and experiences related to eCommerce.
  • 4+ years in eCommerce, digital, marketing, and/or sales, experience in paid retail media, paid search (AMS & Criteo) and eCommerce SEO mandatory
  • Able to navigate the complex & ambiguous with agility and a can‑do attitude.
  • Strong analytics, reporting and creative problem solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Experience in customer facing roles
  • Previous CPG or Canadian Retailer experience preferred
  • Experience with Salsify is preferred; or other Asset Management/DAMs
  • Successful demonstration of driving change
