Job summary

Fortigo Freight Inc. in Mississauga is seeking an experienced DZ driver to support local city routes with early morning starts. You will use an Android Fortigo app to receive daily assignments, update progress, and complete required paperwork.

The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery within the GTA and neighboring areas. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, at least 3 years of DZ experience, and the ability to handle reefer operation and tailgate-equipped trucks.

Qualifications

• Clean abstracts and criminal search required.
• 3 years of DZ experience.
• 2014 or newer 5 ton with Tailgate and reefer.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for local city route
• Ensuring reefer is set and working properly, precooling of truck before loading.
• Picking up and delivery in GTA
• Reporting of any overages or shortages
• Pickup of empty trays, after delivery of order, and returning them to main facility in North York.
• Day-to-day activities include securing load, loading and unloading, updating Fortigo app, completing paperwork.
• Daily communication with our Dispatch on your progress, identifying problems and resolving them with the dispatch.

Job Summary

You will be parking your truckin North York. Your start time will be between 4:30 and 6:00am. You are required to have an Android phone that supports the Fortigo app where you will be getting your daily assignments and where you will be making updates throughout the day.
