Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Flusher Trucker Operator/Labourer for our Port Perry facility. The role involves operating a GFL combo flusher/vac truck, managing daily traffic plans, and upkeeping vehicle safety and cleanliness.

A DZ license is required, and occasional out‑of‑town travel is expected. We offer a unionized work environment with competitive pay, benefits, and a pension plan. Applicants should be able to work 6:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime during busy

Qualifications

• Must be able to work hours: 6:00am–5:00pm, Mon–Fri.
• Additional hours may be required during busy periods.
• Understand instructions and carry out tasks.
• Display flexibility, confidentiality and tact.
• Highly driven, focused and self-motivated.
• Willing to travel 25–30% of the week.
• Working at heights and confined space are assets.

Responsibilities

• Operate a GFL combo flusher/vac truck.
• Complete daily traffic plans.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment safety and service.
• Ensure all equipment is available and working.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
