Job summary

Ortec Environment Services, the Canadian subsidiary of Ortec Group, is seeking Operators for our Hamilton unit to safely operate heavy equipment and perform industrial cleaning tasks. You will inspect equipment, work with a helper, and complete vacuum pumping and high-pressure cleaning at diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ license required.
• Must have own vehicle to reach job site.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Comfort working outdoors in varied weather and environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive heavy equipment units (vacuum trucks, scrubbers, hydrovacs, and high-pressure systems).
• Inspect the vehicle and prepare equipment before departing for job sites.
• Work with a helper to perform vacuum pumping, high-pressure cleaning, or low-pressure water cleaning while following safety guidelines.
• Perform cleaning tasks for various industrial clients, including confined spaces or at heights.

Our Ortec Environment Services business unit based in Hamilton, specialized in Industrial cleaning, is looking for Operators.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive heavy equipment units (vacuum trucks, scrubbers, hydrovacs, and high-pressure systems)
• Inspect the vehicle and prepare equipment before departing for job sites.
• Work as a team with a helper to perform vacuum pumping of solid or liquid materials using a vacuum truck, high-pressure cleaning with specialized equipment, or low-pressure water cleaning (scrubber) while adhering to strict safety guidelines.
• Serve various industrial and other customers, carrying out cleaning tasks that may involve working in confined spaces or at heights.

Competitive Compensation:

• Maximum wage up to $33,85 / hr
• Bank hours to guarantee the payment of an equivalent of 30 hours per week at regular rates
• Overtime or Double time between 12:01 am Saturday and 7:00 am Monday and holidays
