Job summary

YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking full-time Early Childhood Educators to join our Child Care team in Burin. The Trainee, Level 1-4 ECE substitutes will support pre-kindergarten programs under the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualified candidates will have ECE credentials, Pre-K certification, First Aid/CPR Level C, and relevant experience. ASL is an asset; background checks will be conducted; candidates must be eligible to work in

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Certificate, Diploma or Degree.
• AECENL Certification with Pre-K Classification.
• 2 years minimum work experience as an Administrator.
• Experience in early learning or equivalent child care experience.
• Current Standard or Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C.
