Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Executing AMER Application convergence towards global core model landscape strategy with primary focus on PIXAR applications.
  • Support the convergence / harmonization applications roadmap.
  • Ensure that any solution in the landscape follows the process of security compliance and vulnerability.
  • Ensure the integrity of application portfolio database and related documentation (CMDB & SATIN).
  • Manage global and local application initiatives and projects (e.g.: Solution Move-2-Cloud).
  • Support business needs & strategy aligned with global application portfolio.
  • Conduct work simplification with KPI assessment, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively

Main Challenges of the role:

  • Support and animate the Key users network on their global understanding/application of business process utilization with our different application portfolio
  • Executes the transformation of the local applications landscape by supporting the “Application Portfolio Optimization” program and by proposing and executing new rationalization initiatives. Target in term of optimization and decommissioning will be setup each year”.
  • Ensures the collaboration with external suppliers.
  • Participates to develop a general knowledge of the local applications portfolio

Profile:

  • Graduated with a business administration degree, needs to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in functional application management. The candidate has a good level of knowledge of several business domains. Also, the incumbent has a good understanding of the projectmanagement/finance processes.
  • The candidate demonstrates good communication and change management skills. He/She is result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Fluent in English is a must. The candidate is eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
