Compensation : $30 – $34 / hour (full-time / permanent)

The Job – Drywaller / Painter

Join On Side Restoration as a Drywaller / Painter and help rebuild homes and businesses after disaster strikes. You’ll repair and finish drywall, apply textures, and bring spaces to life with fresh paint.

What you bring as a Drywaller / Painter

• 5+ years of drywall repair experience (cutting, mudding, sanding, taping, painting)
• Brush / roller / spray gun paint experience to finish the area for uniformity and completion
• Construction experience and tool proficiency : you have your own tools for the job
• Strong communication and people skills
• Detail-oriented, quality-driven, safety-focused
• Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record (we do check)
• English communication skills written and spoken

What you’re responsible for…

• Measure, cut, install, and repair damaged drywall
• Tape, mud, sand, and texture surfaces
• Prepare and protect work sites
• Prepare surfaces and apply primers, paints, stains, or finishes
• Match colors and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
• Install wall coverings

Other stuff that’ll help you be successful but isn’t mandatory :

• Drywall Finisher or Plasterer ticket
• Painter ticket
• WHMIS
• First Aid
