Empire Envelope is hiring a Drywall Touch-Up Service Technician to perform insulation, drywall, and texture repairs while upholding high quality and safety standards. You will work on-site, coordinate with builders and trades, and ensure accurate tracking of hours and scope of work.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract, and a satisfactory criminal record check.

Formación

• 1 year of drywall, taping, or general construction experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.

Responsabilidades

• Perform drywall, taping, texture repair work and related scopes of work.
• Maintain site cleanliness during scope of work and protect quality standards.
• Represent Empire Envelope Ltd. when dealing with builders, homeowners, and trades.
• Track hours and scope of work with records, photos, notes or descriptions.
• Provide feedback to manager on overall work quality and site issues.
• Maintain weekly vehicle inspections and report any concerns.
• Ensure hazard assessments are completed, PPE worn, and safety issues reported.
• Collaborate with team members and divisions as needed.

Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Drywall Touch-Up Service Technician. You are perform insulation, drywall, and texture repair work while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism. You also maintain site and vehicle cleanliness, and collaborate with internal teams, builders, and trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Completing drywall, taping, texture repairs and/or scopes of work,
• Maintaining site cleanliness during scope of work.
• Upholding and protecting the high-quality standards of Empire Envelope Ltd. and ensuring that all work performed meets or exceeds these standards.
• Representing Empire Envelope Ltd. when dealing with builders, homeowners, and trades.
• Tracking of hours and scope of work completed at every job for tracking and billing. This may include pictures, notes and description of work completed.
• Providing feedback to direct manager regarding overall quality of work and/or site issues.
• Maintaining weekly vehicle inspections for general vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. Reporting any vehicle concerns upon notice.
• Ensuring hazard assessments are filled out, proper PPE is worn and safety concerns are reported.
• Working with all team members and divisions, as needed.

• Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects.

Working Conditions

You work primarily on site during regular business hours. Work has exposure to noise from equipment/machinery and occupational hazards as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required.
