Job summary

A local construction company in Calgary is hiring a drywall installer. The ideal candidate will have experience with drywall installation and be capable of physically demanding work, including reading blueprints and finishing edges. This full-time, on-site position offers $36.00 per hour for a maximum of 40 hours a week. Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and some experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including drywall installation.
• Experience working in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Install drywall sheets and metal stud framing.
• Finish corners and angles to industry standards.
• Prepare surfaces and apply decorative designs as required.
