KHALSA'Z TAPING & DRYWALL in Inglewood, Ontario, is seeking skilled professionals for drywall installation. Candidates must read blueprints, apply joint compound, and have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 1 Year to less than 2 Years of experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments.
• Physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coating to dry
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound

Qualifications

• Required Language: English
• Required Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Required Experience: 1 Year to less than 2 Years

Travel & Location

Work sites vary throughout Ontario; frequent travel is required. Company car will be provided for transportation and hotels for stays.

Work Site Environment: At heights and dusty.

Physical Requirements

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, physically demanding and standing for extended periods.
