Job summary

Shepard-Martinez Construction is seeking an experienced drywall taper/finisher for full-room projects across HRM, working in occupied homes with attention to cleanliness.

Requires 2+ years of drywall taping/finishing experience, legal work status in Canada, 18+ years old, ability to lift 50 lb, and own transportation to sites in HRM. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Job description

Boarding, taping, coating and sanding. Full rooms, and repairs blended into existing walls. Most of it feeds straight into our own paint crew, so it has to leave your hands paint-ready rather than ready for an argument about whose fault the flashing is.

What you would do:

• Board, tape, coat and sand full rooms
• Patch and blend repairs into existing walls without leaving a halo
• Call your own coats and know when it needs another one
• Work cleanly in houses that are still lived in

What you need:

• 2+ years drywall taping and finishing experience
