A tourism company in the Canadian Rockies is hiring a Driver Guide for Spring/Summer 2025. This seasonal, full-time position involves training for a Class 2 driver's license while providing memorable interpretative tours. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation and guest management in a stunning natural environment. A passion for service and outdoor work is essential for a successful experience in this role.
Location: Jasper, AB • Pay: $20.50 an hour • Job type: Seasonal, Full-time • Shift and schedule: Rotating shift
What will be your daily pursuit?: In Class 2 MELT training you will be provided with the coaching to be able to complete the required written and driving test to obtain your Class 2 drivers license and Q (Air brakes) license. This training will be completed over a 3-week period in Banff. Once completed, you will be moved on-site for the required operational training before driving with passengers.
As a Driver Guide, you will contribute to making the Columbia Icefield Adventure and Columbia Icefield Skywalk experiences as memorable, entertaining and informative as possible for guests visiting from around the globe. A Driver Guide is responsible for safely operating various types of coach buses and unique Ice Explorer vehicles while delivering high-quality interpretive tour content in a professional and interactive manner, meeting the service goals and expectations of Pursuit.
What will your compensation be?: The starting salary for this position is $20.50.
