Parklawn Granite is seeking a hardworking, dedicated person to join our team. Casual position 3-4 days per week 8-9 months per year.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

• Contract length: 8 months
• Pay: $16.43-$29.33 per hour
• Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
• Benefits: Extended health care
• Schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Morning shift,Weekends as needed
• Work Location: In person

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must:

• Have a valid driver’s license,
• must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle,
• have strong communication and organizational skills,
• be comfortable with computers and have some basic design experience.
• Building relationships is a key component of this job.
• You will be required to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. This is a physically demanding job.

Duties

• Design monuments, columbarium doors
• Order product
• Complete and submit relevant paperwork prior to installation of monuments
• Perform installations of monuments according to specifications and guidelines.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition before starting installation tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, providing solutions as necessary.
• Always maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the yard
• Communicate with families to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on project progress.
• Communicate with staff from two funeral home locations.
• Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered.
