Job summary

Qualifications

  • Clean driving record for past three years.
  • Aptitude for mathematical operations.
  • Proficient with office tech (computers, copiers, scanners, phones, video calls).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver merchandise to customers, vendors, and branch locations with safe, professional service.
  • Verify products during loading/unloading and ensure secure transport.
  • Maintain GPS/mobile devices usage and communicate delivery status to supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, wear PPE, perform equipment safety checks.

Job Summary

The Driver position is responsible for the delivery of merchandise to and from customers, vendors, and other branches or locations, as directed, with the use of a company vehicle. Additionally, this role is responsible for excellence in customer service, the proper use of company tools, vehicles, and equipment, as well as adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
  • Delivers exceptional customer service through prompt, professional communication and issue resolution.
  • Responds to inquiries via phone and email with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Maintains professional relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments, fostering collaborative problem-solving.
Driving
  • Safely and efficiently delivers merchandise to customers, vendors, and branch locations.
  • Verifies products during loading/unloading and ensures secure transport.
  • Carry and maintain a valid driver’s license at all times, ensuring timely renewal and compliance.
  • Conducts daily vehicle inspections and reports maintenance needs; maintains cleanliness and operational readiness.
  • Uses GPS and mobile devices proficiently and follows all delivery procedures.
  • Communicates delivery status and check-ins with supervisor throughout the day.
Safety
  • Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Wears appropriate PPE and responds promptly to unsafe conditions.
  • Conducts equipment safety checks and follows job site safety requirements.
  • Secures all loads during transport and handles hazardous materials according to guidelines.
Other
  • Safety Sensitive Position: the ability to perform job functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or its GED equivalent.
  • 2 or more years experience with driving, warehousing, and related functions.
  • Possess a valid DZ driver’s license.
  • Maintain a clean driving record for the past three years, free of major infractions such as speeding or DWI.
  • Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
  • Proficient in using office technology, including computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems, and virtual meeting platforms, as required for daily responsibilities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position may require up to 40–43 hours per week and involves regular physical activity, including:

  • Regular bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching up to 3 hours per day.
  • Repetitive use of foot motion for driving 1-6 hours per day
  • Operating forklifts and material handling equipment for up to 6 hours daily.
  • Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Pushing/pulling objects up to 300 lbs. occasionally.
  • Prolonged use of hands, arms, and feet for equipment operation.
  • Periods of sitting, standing, walking, and twisting throughout the shift.
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.
