Job summary

Uni-Select is seeking a Driver to join our Kelowna team in BC. You will handle order preparation for delivery, verify invoices, and assist with parts pickup. You will inspect merchandise on delivery, ensure proper paperwork, and maintain a professional customer-facing approach.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong interpersonal skills. On-site work with competitive pay and benefits is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery and verify invoices.
• Inspect merchandise before/at delivery and obtain customer sign-off.
• Organize daily pick-up of cores, returns and warranties.
• Accurately record deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork.
• Comply with electronic delivery standards and road rules.
• Report customer complaints to Dispatcher/Store Manager.
• Check vehicle fluid levels and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with store tasks and keep shelves stocked as needed.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventoryBe prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
