Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Floorhand based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This full-time position operates on a 21 days on, 3 days off rotation with 12-hour day/night shifts, and accommodations provided while on rotation.

Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $37.00 per hour based on experience, with candidates residing in Alberta preferred. The role requires proven rig experience, valid Alberta licenses with air brake endorsement, and required safety tickets such as H2S Alive

Qualifications

• Proven rig experience required.
• Alberta residency confirmed.
• Alberta Class 5 license with air brake endorsement (5Q) minimum.
• H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS or equivalent tickets.
• Valid Alberta driver's abstract.
• Able to pass pre-employment alcohol and drug test.
• Available for a full 21 and 3 rotation away from home.
• Physically able to perform heavy rig work in all weather and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work the rig floor: tripping pipe, making/breaking connections, handling tongs and slips.
• Rig up and rig down for moves between locations.
• Operate and maintain rig floor tools and equipment.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and hazard assessments; attend safety meetings.
• Keep lease, floor and equipment clean and service ready.
• Follow site safety procedures, permits, and lockout requirements.
• Report equipment issues, near misses and incidents through proper channels.
• Work as part of a crew through the full 21 day hitch in all weather.
