Job description

• Preparation of 3D models and technical drawings for structural and mechanical projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Supports design, documentation, and coordination with the engineering team.
• Interpret design specifications for structural and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, sales and project managers to ensure designs comply with local Singapore regulations and international standards.
• Maintain a well-organised filing system and ensure proper control of technical documentation and project records.
• Take parts in project meeting, design review, and improvement initiatives when required.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Entry level or individuals without prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software to create 3D models for fabrication, testing and commissioning.
• Proficient in graphics rendering using 3D modelling software such as Blender, and Visualise to create realistic visualisations will be an added advantage.
• Capable of reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings accurately.
• Exhibits strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organisational skills.
• Able to perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple drawing releases to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to address and resolve fundamental design challenges.
