This role as a Domestic Assistant at Akari Care offers the opportunity to join a caring and supportive team, making a real difference in the lives of older people. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the residents' rooms and communal areas, contributing to a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment where residents are valued, respected, and can retain their individuality and dignity.

Main duties of the job

As a Domestic Assistant, you will work alongside and collaborate with the domestic and laundry teams to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are achieved in our residents' rooms and all communal areas. You will be adaptable, approachable, and prioritize resident care, actively promoting continuous improvement of standards in all areas. Your role will involve assessing the domestic needs of residents, adhering to policies and procedures, and delivering personalized excellence to contribute to the ongoing fulfillment of our residents' lives.
