A leading global gold mining company is seeking a Document Control and Administration Clerk to support the Great Bear Project in Red Lake, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in business or office administration, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include maintaining document control processes, quality checking documents, and supporting administrative tasks. The position offers a 5X2 rotation and requires strong customer service and organizational skills.
The Great Bear project is a development-stage asset located in the renowned and prolific Red Lake mining district, and represents one of the most exciting recent gold discoveries globally. The project has excellent potential to become a top-tier deposit that could support a large, long-life mine complex. Kinross’ comprehensive exploration and development program will aim to support the vision of a quality, high-grade, open-pit mine and a longer-term, sizeable underground mine.
Reporting to the Document Control Specialist, the Document Control and Administration Clerk will provide document control services and assist with general day to day administration requirements for the Great Bear Project.
A post-secondary education in business or office administration, with a minimum of 5 years experience in office administration and/or document control. Working in the mining industry or an engineering firm is considered an asset. Experience with various document control systems, including SharePoint and Teams is an asset.
This position is a 5X2 rotation, and is located in Red Lake, Ontario.
