Job summary

A leading not-for-profit security company based in Esquimalt is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee security personnel at CFB Esquimalt. Responsibilities include managing security operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling client interactions. The ideal candidate has a strong security mindset, interpersonal skills, and relevant qualifications, including a Commissionaire Security Officer’s Course completion and a BC Driver’s license. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $26.67/hour.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
• Previous military experience in a leadership role is an asset.
• Ability to operate under stress and tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Commissionaires assigned to CFB Esquimalt.
• Ensure all guard posts are manned according to regulations.
• Investigate and resolve complaints from employees and clients.
• Prepare reports relating to personnel and other issues.

Education

Successful completion of the Commissionaire Security Officer’s Course
