Job summary

Arctiq is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to protect sensitive data across endpoints, email, cloud apps, and data repositories. You will monitor DLP alerts, tune rules, and collaborate with Information Security, SOC, Legal, Privacy, and Business teams to strengthen data protection posture.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in information security, hands-on DLP/ UEBA experience, and knowledge of ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, CIS, and NIST frameworks. This is a hybrid Toronto-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security focusing on information protection and data security.
• Experience with ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, CIS, and NIST 800 series.
• Experience implementing data protection controls to achieve compliance.
• Familiarity with insider threat frameworks (CERT, NITTF) and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with UEBA and DLP technologies.
• Strong data classification knowledge and policy development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic data protection strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Manage DLP technologies to monitor, detect, and prevent data loss.
• Tune detection rules and reduce false positives while protecting data.
• Collaborate with SOC, Legal, and Privacy teams during investigations.
• Document incidents and lessons learned.
