Job summary

Central Okanagan Public Schools is seeking a visionary District Principal-Learning and Innovation to lead the district’s learning and innovation portfolio and to oversee the Early Learning and Childcare portfolio.

The successful candidate will partner with the Director of Instruction to drive instructional improvement, equity, and student outcomes across 50 schools in Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, facilitation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience providing district-level instructional leadership and system-wide change management.
• Ability to build relationships and lead cross‑departmental teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead district learning and innovation priorities aligned with strategic plan.
• Support early learning and childcare portfolio and partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations.
• Collaborate with district teams to strengthen instructional leadership and professional learning.
• Foster inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments for all students.
