Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Windsor is recruiting District Nursing Sister SPQ to lead the Windsor and Maidenhead Community Nursing Team, delivering high-quality home-based care and leading clinical decision-making. You will manage a complex caseload, supervise staff, promote evidence-based practice and ensure patient-centred care in patients’ homes.

A valid NMC PIN, driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with NMC Pin.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required competencies within the Band 6 Community Nurse framework to assess, plan and provide care.
• Support staff to reassess and document patient health and nursing needs.
• Manage a complex and diverse caseload of patients.
• Provide information and support to patients, families and carers to inform care choices.
• Provide clinical leadership to ensure evidence-based care within Community Nursing Teams.
