Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Calgary, AB is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee the loading and scanning of freight, ensuring a steady flow and timely dispatch. You will operate 5090 shipping lane computers and TC70 devices to maintain accuracy and speed.

Eligible candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, wear steel-toed boots from day one, and comply with safety procedures; the role starts at $26.40 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Calgary distribution facility.

Qualifications

Age - 18 or older
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day
Safety footwear required on first day and PPE provided as needed

Responsibilities

To ensure that merchandise—both the freight loaded on conveyors (conveyable freight) and the non-conveyable freight—are scanned and loaded in a timely and safe manner.
Manage the entire process of loading freight, ensuring the constant flow of product to reduce conveyer lines from stopping and maintaining minimal recirculation.
Adhering to all Shipping policies and procedures.
Must be able to proficiently use the 5090 shipping lane computers and TC70’s with the MM program.
Maintain the Shipping department’s housekeeping standards and support fellow associates while adhering to all Shipping Procedures.
