Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking a National Category Manager – Distribution for its Mississauga branch to lead category strategies across internal and external customers, working with suppliers, branches, procurement and business leaders.

You will analyze market data, review stock packages, negotiate vendor agreements, and collaborate with marketing and pricing to drive growth and profitability while ensuring alignment with Rexel’s goals.

Qualifications

• Analytical capability to assess market trends, margins and product lifecycles.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills for vendor agreements.
• Solid knowledge of merchandising and product promotion in a competitive market.
• Ability to understand end-use of electrical products and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies with suppliers, branches and sales teams.
• Review stock packages and demand trends to optimize assortments and inventory.
