Job summary

Urban Legal Recruitment is assisting a leading national law firm in Vancouver to hire an Associate for its Disputes team. You will advise and represent clients on environmental and regulatory matters, product liability, professional negligence, insurance and privacy, with opportunities to appear before BC and Federal courts and tribunals.

Qualified candidates practise in British Columbia with 2–4 years of civil or commercial litigation and regulatory experience, strong research and advocacy

Qualifications

• Licensed to practise law in British Columbia.
• Two to four years of civil or commercial litigation and regulatory experience.
• Experience with one or more of the practice areas listed above.
• Strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills.
• Sound judgment, initiative and a collaborative approach to client service.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on environmental, regulatory and related matters.
• Litigate before BC and Federal courts and administrative tribunals.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to find effective solutions for clients.
