The Opportunity

The Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching of fuel deliveries to customers as well as providing customer service support on incoming customer lines. This position is also responsible to assist in the planning and forecasting of workloads based on the branch demands and growth and would be required to work an on-call schedule to ensure customer needs are being met. The term for this role will run until February 1, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate directly with drivers (and brokers if applicable) for the purpose of managing current and upcoming delivery demand.
  • Prepare delivery ticket selections within Infosys and manage day to day dispatching within AWE.
  • Produce and review various reports. i.e. : performance reports, make necessary adjustments (K factors), run out report, follow-up with drivers, new and cancelled accounts report, outstanding tickets or special arrangement reports, truck reports.
  • Review accounts put on STOP or cancelled accounts to ensure tickets deleted.
  • Review and adjust customer account delivery parameters (tank size, K factor, HWH Flags etc.), as needed.
  • Review weekend and overnight customer service inquiries with respect to delivery and take required action.
  • Maintain DD table within Infosys and communicate to delivery team as required.
  • Utilize Infosys & AWE systems and reports to manage delivery operation.
  • Assist / Train other staff on Infosys delivery tools (i.e. delivery record setup, K-Factor, DD Due, Delivery profile etc.).
  • Trouble-shoot truck computer system and communicate with inside / outside support when necessary with respect to AWE / CV30-31 software, hardware issues.
  • Provide customer service support on incoming customer calls.
  • Awareness of Liquid Fuels Handling Code and other codes pertaining to the safe delivery of petroleum.
