Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Dispatcher for a seasonal position in Burnaby. You will organize the daily dispatch of equipment for the branch and schedule drivers to meet customer needs, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include taking orders, coordinating deliveries and pickups, arranging emergency field repairs, and supporting inside sales as needed. This role is Safety Sensitive and requires a valid driver’s license and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
