Key Responsibilities :
  • Coordinate daily driver schedules and bus routes.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, school officials, and site managers.
  • Respond promptly to unexpected issues such as delays, absences, or vehicle breakdowns.
  • Update route assignments, vehicle logs, and driver time sheets.
  • Use dispatch software and internal systems to manage operations.
  • Support drivers with compliance, safety, and service-related matters.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure vehicle availability.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new drivers.
Qualifications :
  • Previous experience in dispatching or logistics, preferably in transportation.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Winnipeg's neighborhoods and roadways is an asset.
  • Proficiency with computer systems (Excel, dispatch software).
  • Availability to work early mornings and / or late afternoons as needed
